Michael Vitti with the Tapeless
Acquisition crew, May 2008 |
The MoPictive tapeless workshop is your 'hands on' chance to get
over your tapeless reluctances. Yes, you can erase, corrupt or otherwise
make a mess out of a perfectly fine set of files, but with this system,
producers, editors and assistants can feel confident and benefit
from the potential speed from shoot to edit that tapeless acquisition
can offer.
Michael Vitti is an early adopter of tapeless acquisition, having
shot two documentaries and as the HD Tech on a multi-camera feature,
he has developed a foolproof system. Join us for this one day, intensive
workshop. Hands on workshop to cover:
- the tapeless system: prepare for the un-expected
- station setup & configuration
- Data, media and metadata management
- Panasonic, Red and Sony codecs
- log and transfer
- codecs, data formats and data capture
- Scopes & monitors with Michael Woodworth (Divergent Media)

- handing project off to the editor
